“轻”计划，是以青年艺术家为服务核心的艺术项目。通过青年艺术家更具活力的艺术语言为观者呈现一个丰富多元、充满活力的当代“轻”艺术生态，从而展现年轻艺术家的表达诉求和作品样态。这些年轻人有他们各自对生命和艺术的理解， 也有他们各自的艺术表达样式，这些样式对一些城市来说是“新”和“轻”的， 他们 少了些沉旧的桎梏，而 多了些“不切实际”的追问 。

“Light” planning is an art project focusing on young artists. It present a rich, diversified and dynamic contemporary "light" art ecology to the audience through the more dynamic art language of young artists, so as to show the expression demands and works of them. These young people have their own understanding of life and art, as well as their own artistic expression styles. These styles may be "new" and "light" for some cities. However, they have less old shackles and more "unrealistic" inquiry.

非一线城市，该不该存在艺术机构？随着中国城镇化进程逐渐推进，改变的不单单是生产、科技、还有生长在这里的艺术。身为四线城市的古城大同，同样也孕育出了很多优秀的艺术家，他们用艺术作为切入点，去了解一个城市，同时也潜移默化的影响着这个城市。

就像贾樟柯所说“文化艺术资源总不能集中在北上广这样的大城市”，ART大同通过多年对非一线城市构建艺术生态的探索，并利用互联网的高效便捷，跨地域寻找艺术家、策展人，以“轻”的形态，由而形成了一种新的模式，策划举办各类艺术交流活动，让文化艺术资源更好的流动起来。

Should there be art institutions in non first tier cities? With the gradual progress of China's urbanization, not only production, science and technology, but also the art growing here have changed. Datong, as a fourth tier city, has also bred many excellent artists. They use art as a starting point to understand a city, and at the same time, they have a subtle influence on the city.

Just as Jia Zhangke said that "cultural and artistic resources cannot be concentrated in big cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou", ART Datong, through years of exploration on the construction of artistic ecology in non first tier cities, and by making use of the efficiency and convenience of the Internet, has found artists and curators across regions. In a "light" form, it has formed a new model, planned and held various art exchange activities, so that cultural and artistic resources can flow better.

本次“轻”计划艺术项目以大同美术馆为主场馆，与神泉艺术馆、原本美术馆、美与酒店、有个小岛，四个分场馆分别为公众展出 九位青年艺术家风格迥异的艺术作品，将为大同这座具有深厚文化底蕴的古城带来新的 活力与可能。

This "Light" planned art project takes Datong Art Museum as the main venue, and there is a small island with Shenquan Art Museum, Original Art Museum, Meihe Hotel. The four sub-venues respectively display works of nine young artists with different styles to the public, which will bring new vitality and possibility to Datong, an ancient city with profound cultural heritage.
